June 2008 - Broken link to EnviroScience fixed. Review on recent advances in biological control of submersed aquatic weeds (Cuda et al. 2008) posted.
Nov 2007 - Links to several pubs [(2006 paper on performance of the European milfoil weevil Eubrychius velutus on native and exotic watermilfoils) and (chemical profile of Eurasian and northern watermilfoil by Michelle Marko)] added. Note that the websurvey has not yet been released but hope to this year, and site revision is still a wish.
July 2006 - With the advent of the new college, CFANS (College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences) the name of the server was changed. The site is now: http://fwcb.cfans.umn.edu/research/milfoil/milfoilbc.html Please update your links and bookmarks.
May 2006 - Link to Darren Ward's paper on effects of sunfish on milfoil herbivores has been added to the online documents page. Ward and Newman 2006. Major updates to the site will occur over this summer and look for an ACE site that will be colleting information on milfoil weevils and plant control.
Feb 2006 - Several new reports and publications have been added to the online documents page. These include the Newman 2004 review, a 2005 paper by Michelle Marko reporting the isolation and identification of milfoil weevil attractants released by Eurasian water milfoil and a 2006 paper by Sarah Roley on milfoil weevil performanc on Eurasian, northern and hybrid milfoil.
Jan 2006 - after many years of fine service on a Mac, the department web page has been transferred to the college server. The site is aliased and should be reachable via the www.fw.umn.edu links. However, the actual site was at: http://www.cnr.umn.edu/fwcb/research/milfoil/milfoilbc.html Note see above. This link no longer works.
Mar 2004 - Major update of links. Reports have been added on regular basis.
Feb 2003- Updated bibliography, online literature and a few links. I hope to get to a major update by spring.
July 2002- Added Final Report for 1999-2001
July 2001 - Added June 2001 report and several online publications/documents - text and site will be updated later this summer.
June 2001 - updated graphics and some info on the Do you have weevils page?
August 2000 - Literature database updated, added an 1100 reference searchable aquatic plant biblio, added links to online publications, links to current research projects
March 2000 - Searchable literature database goes online

December 1999 - Updated a few links. I know, I know, this site is in need of a major update. That will happen during the first half of 2000. Stay tuned for more info.
