fisheries management in North America 2nd Ed. is approx $61 and copies
of the supplemental texts: Fisheries Techniques ($65) and Monson (Limnology
Primer; $7.00) will also be available in class. Payment
is by check (to University of Minnesota) or cash.

Futures and IGERT Symposium: Predicting Invasive Potential of Exotic Species. David
Pimentel will be giving the keynote at
9AM. The symposium is free to students but if you plan to attend for more
than an hour please register
online to help us plan and be sure you get a seat.
- 2/18/08: First midterm exam will be Wed 27 February. It will cover material
through bioenergetics, feeding and biomanipulation.
- 2/18/08: Assignment 3, outline of managment paper, will be due on 5 March.
If you turn it in earlier I will grade it sooner.

- 2/25/08: Friday 29 Feb Eric Merten will be guest lecturing on stream ecology
