Seminars

The Department of Fisheries and Wildlife provides several opportunities for intellectual stimulation and socializing by sponsoring a number of seminars given by speakers from within and outside the University of Minnesota.

  • Weekly seminars including topics in all aspects of fisheries and wildlife
  • Occasional seminars co-sponsored with other departments
  • The annual Kolshorn Lecture by a distinguished scholar
  • Graduate student pre-thesis and thesis defense seminars

Seminars

Seminars are typically held in 415 Alderman Hall every other Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 pm. Pizza is provided but please bring your own beverage.
