READING FOR MAR 4: Reel Nature, Chapter 2, Science Versus Showmanship on the Silent Screen, pp. 26-58.

ACTIVITY DUE MAR 4: Develop an annotated filmography (a type of bibliography) for films that feature your species that were made before 1980. The annotated filmography will be similar to an annotated bibliography format. A minimum of five films are required. Details on the assignment presented in class.

ACTIVITY DUE MAR 4: Prepare answers to the three questions related to your reading, Reel Nature, Chapter 2, 'Science Versus Showmanship on the Silent Screen', for discussion next week. Your answers will be collected after discussion on Mar. 4.
