Research
My research focuses on waterfowl and wetlands with an emphasis on swans and
geese. Goose investigations involve the behavior and survival of female Canada
geese, behavioral ecology of migrant Canada geese, the control of Canada goose
populations by special hunting seasons, management of Canada geese at airports,
and the ecology and management of urban Canada geese. My wetland research has
centered recently on wetland values.
