Research

My interests are in game bird ecology and the evolution of galliforms; endangered species with particular emphasis on the spotted owl; and habitat relationships of wildlife with an emphasis on sustainable wildlife management strategies for forest dwelling species. In addition, I maintain strong interest in sustainable hunting strategies. Most of my work has a strong applied focus.
