Adult milfoil weevil (Euhrychiopsis lecontei) on a Eurasian watermilfoil meristem. Aults typically stay in the upper portion of the plant, underwater, and females oviposit on the meristem.
There can be considerable color variation - some adults are darker, some more yellow and others more tan.
