I am interested in habitat conservation and land use management issues that involve avian species of special concern. I am particularly interested in how sustainable management of forest resources relates to spotted owl habitat conservation.
My current research involves using GIS tools and remotely sensed satellite data to investigate landscape scale habitat associations in and around spotted owl nesting and roosting areas.
