Undergraduate Programs

The objective of the Fisheries and Wildlife undergraduate curriculum is to provide students with a broad science background emphasizing the biological and environmental sciences and other coursework needed for careers in fisheries, wildlife, conservation biology, and other natural resource and environmental careers. After completing a core curriculum, students select an area of specialization Fisheries, Wildlife, or Conservation Biology.

A minor, an honors program, and a pre-veterinary medicine program are also available. In addition some Faculty in the department participate in the college-wide Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management program.

Through careful choice of restricted electives, students completing the Fisheries and Wildlife major can also fulfill the requirements for the Biology and the Environmental Science, Policy and management minors.

Inquiries about undergraduate programs in FWCB should be directed to Todd Arnold, the Major Coordinator for Fisheries and Wildlife.
