- Build an understanding of the problem of bird building collisions and action steps to mitigate the problem
- Explore classroom activities that engage students in both the problem and solutions
- Develop data collection skills to survey for bird building collisions at schools

- Evaluate why particular buildings/architectural features are particularly dangerous for birds
- Apply data collection protocols and record-keeping involved in surveying a building for bird collisions/deaths
- Explore mitigation strategies to address collisions at identified hotspots
